"Hipis / Kwietny Pył Punk" was recorded in May 2021, and is a fully improvised EP (with some pre-written lyrics).

HIPIS was the name of Adam Majdecki Janicki's first band (also known as FIRST). HIPIS never recorded anything until 2021.

As of today, these 4 tracks are the only output from a band (now a one-man project) that now exists for 25 years.

As Adam says:
"I was actually quite happy with the sessions, even if I had to rely on MIDI drums, and work alone - I think those 4 tracks represent quite well what Hipis stood for back in 1998-2001. We had band rehearsals at a military unit in Poznań. We were just punk kids, and I was from a military family. We had fun, but then as years went by, all the friends grew up, nobody had any pressure on recording, and the memories of ancient punk rehearsals were all I had before I started recording this EP. Maybe it won't take another 25 years to wait for another release, but I can't promise anything. Anyway, who really needs another release, if this is exactly the sound I was after? It's like a floating library on a sea of honey."
